Okay, so I still have commissions due to people but this is getting ridiculous, I have no money, no job, and no way to get a job or even get to a job if I HAD one, so I need some source of income to try and keep my parents from breathing down my neck.
So I’m opening all of them again. I have revised my prices and choices since the last time I had commissions open, so there is some differences. I also have opened up both Pony and Lorax commissions.
Unfortunately I’m not confident enough in my skills to be able to draw other’s characters or characters from other shows, so I’m doing what I know I can do.
NOTICE: The cheaper the commission, the faster I can do it and the faster I can get it to you. Then there isn’t a long wait or anything like that. So instead of getting one big drawing that’s worth 25 bucks, get a bunch of different drawings for the same amount of money, right? Just… trying to help out.
If you are interested in seeing more examples of my artwork or want to commission me, please go to my website, where my contact information is. Please DO NOT message me here on tumblr or on DA. Thank you.

reblog for day crowd
A sleigh, huh? I haven’t ridden in one of those for a long time… I myself ride in one of my own inventions I built!
I call it my Snowlar-Plexus. It’s a bit beat up because I use it every day, but it works just fine. Helps me get around in the snow nice and easy. It also has a handy little basket in the back for Pip so come around with me.
As for things I like to do?
Does snow sculpting count as a sport?
Heh, I like to do this when I’m taking a break, or on a day off from a hard day at the company. I’ve gotten quite good at it, if I do say so myself.
Hey Viking, are you afraid of snow dragons?
I worked too hard on this augh
If you get the reference I will kiss you
Bum da dum some of my new Winter-ler
Pip’s gonna be in there very often… for a reason. He has some story behind him, but I don’t want to give it away. You’ll have to ask him questions and follow his story to find out why he’s different.
Have some not-so-happy Once-ler face traces.
Felt like looking at his face for a while so I did. I woulda done more but my attention span is shot tonight so blarghargrah
So yeah I just quick snapped these while watching my dvd (sorry they’re not at the exact same time, I’m doing this quick) but yeAH
the dvd’s quality is really low. Even the color’s off! it’s slightly yellow? And everythings just a bit… fuzzy. Soft around the edges.
I’ll try and take more ‘iconic’ screenshots of Once-ler to compare too but I know this isn’t just me or my laptop. The dvd is definitely lower quality.
That’s because DVD releases are still in 480i, which is for DVDs are resolution of 720x480 pixels. Since it’s an interlaced (it’s 480i, not 480p) resolution, the frames are put together out of two progressive frames, which are of a resolution of 360x240, and that’s really fucking low. Doesn’t affect still pictures, but it’s really blurry in motion.
The 780p download, if it’s not 720p which would make a lot more sense, runs on a resolution of 1280x720, which, as you can see, is far bigger.
However, there is still a higher quality version. The BD release of The Lorax is on a resolution of 1080p, which is 1920x1080.
And still comes the most closest to the movie quality, which runs on resolutions of over 3000p. Don’t ask me how many pixels it has, but it’s a whole freaking lot.
Thank you m’dear, you’re much more knowledgable than me. (and yeah I wrote it wrong it’s 720p)
There you have it folks.
